Daniel Radcliffe’s got something to hide, and no before you say it, it’s definitely not the fact that he can’t act. Actually it’s….

His supposed ‘ex-girlfriend’ Laura O’Toole. We spotted Daniel enjoying a special 19th birthday meal with his parents at the Wolsey in London yesterday. The couple dated late last year, but by November the pair claimed they had broken-up. Speaking in November, actress Laura, who met Daniel during their stint in raunchy play Equus, said:

"Daniel and I are still good friends and have a good time when we see each other. But we just have to be realistic."

So if they’re both just “good friends” why on earth did Daniel try and hide Laura from the cameras when our photographers arrived?? Hmmm, the plot thickens…

What movies or plays have you seen to make you feel you can say he can not act? Radcliffe is the best and most versatile actor of his generation. Tell me other teen actor you know who has done movies, tv and theater? He was brilliant in Equus and My Boy Jack, hilarious in Extras and he is the perfect Harry. And I don't see him in those pics trying to hide anything. I just see a normal boy, celebrating his birthday with his family, there is nothing wrong with that. But there are many things wrong with you...

Daniel,the reason why I hate you is that after all those kids audtioned for the part of Harry, it was you - the casting directors son who got the job.If it hadn't been for that you would have never been chosen.

D. Troof and Kelly, you might want to check your facts before posting. HP movies were cast by Susan Figgis and Janet Hirshenson, Jane Jenkins and Karen Lindsey-Stewart. Hirshenson and Jenkins talked about it in a book. Marcia Greshem is a casting agent but she was working for the BBC. She had nothing to do with the casting except for allowing her boy to try out for the role. I think Dan is gorgeous. Love the new look. Keep up the good work Dan!

Excuse me, Daniel IS NOT the son or relative of the casting director. Daniel was cast AT THE LAST MINUTE because they couldn't find anyone they wanted. His mum is/was a casting director but she wasn't in charge of Harry Potter casting. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!! His mum has lined his pockets?, why shouldn't she? If they're willing/stupid enough to pay him that, you'd all do the same, so BELT UP, you jealous bloody hypocrites. he's a ditz? What the hell's that anyway and do you actually know him, if you do know him personally then I'll believe it, until then, keep your crap insults to yourself. why so rude Mr P? Daniel doesn't appear as if he'd tried to hide from your photograper. In fact it's full eye contact and therefore one of the sexist photos around. It might only take a couple of minutes of his time, but he's treated your photographer with the courtesty you obviously lack!
